This is by far the most inspiring talk by a blogger that I’ve come across in a long time. Gary Vaynerchuk endeavours into social media and video blogging demonstrates how social media can be leveraged to promote businesses regardless of their size and the deepness of their pockets. He reinvented his family wine business, the “Wine Library” wine store, and established himself as a respected wine expert by leveraging social media tools. He created his video blog “Wine Library TV” as he was troubled by the stuffiness of the industry, with professionals unwilling to educate their consumers. His passion for wine and commitment to educating consumers about wine has helped build the Wine Library brand exponentially. Wine Library TV has reinvented the concept of wine tasting for a new generation. Within a five year period, WineLibrary.com grew from a $4 million business to a $45 million business. His video blog now attracts a cult-like following of around 80,000 viewers per day.
